As some of you may know, last year I was the Casting Producer for the National Geographic show “None of the Above,” (the show is playing in over 120 countries including the US). The entire experience was awesome. A pop science show, we got to play with liquid nitrogen, massive potato guns, shattering glass, centrifugal forces, blowing up sheds, safes and barrels galore. The crew was great to work with, and I was sad to see it all end in December.
As luck would have it, the show is back in Vegas and in a few hours we start shooting season 2. I’m excited to be a part of this show. For a long time I have been working towards larger and larger projects. Vegas has lots of production opportunities, but multimillion dollar shoots don’t come to town that often. To be a part of this in such a significant role is a treat for me. Yes it is a huge amount of work, I’m going to be juggling for much of the summer, but I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing.
